On June 21, 2024, BLDC awarded a $150,000 loan to Russ & Mimi’s

Russ & Mimi’s (16 Birch Street, Boston, MA 02131) will be a retail shop offering gourmet groceries, fresh prepared foods, wine and beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, and outside regular hours, will host public and private events. The shop will be owned and operated by Kelly Walsh, who has over 20 years of experience as a restaurant and hospitality operator.  Kelly is the recipient of multiple awards, including 40 Under 40 2018 (Boston Business Journal), Empire Builders of the Year 2019 (Eater Boston) and Restaurateur of the Year 2019 (Boston Globe).
